Introduction

Mountain Medicine Society of Nepals (MMSN)is a non profit making, non governmental free organization. It was registered as per the rules of Nepal on the 12 th of September, 2003 .

It is basically a meeting point of physicians, scientists and an allied professional interested in mountain medicine and is basically formed to encourage research on all health aspects of mountains, mountain people and mountaineers. The objectives have been led by the significant need to enhance the interest in and understanding of mountain medicine, especially in countries like Nepal where this topic is immensely relevant.

Source of income

•  Membership registration and renewal fees
•  Donations, presents and help provided by any person or any governmental or nongovernmental    organizations
•  Any income generating activities if conducted.
